Learn How to Line Dance

16 May at 6.00 pm - 8.00 pm

Free

Join Step2It Line Dance for a free two-hour line dancing workshop. In the first hour you’ll learn all the moves, and then in the second hour you’ll have some fun putting those moves into practice.

This event is suitable for people aged 18 years and over, and no registrations are required. As this is a non-ticketed event, it’s first come, first served, so arrive early to secure your spot and avoid disappointment. We encourage everyone to wear your best country-inspired outfit on the evening – think cowboy hats and boots, bolo or neck ties!

FAQs
I’ve never danced before. Do I need any prior experience?
As this is a beginner-friendly workshop, there’s no dancing experience required, just a willingness to give it a go and have some fun.

Do I need to bring anything along?
We recommend wearing comfortable, country-inspired clothing and appropriate footwear to dance in, and bringing a water bottle.

I’m not able to attend this workshop but I’d like to try line dancing. Are there any local classes?
Not able to attend but interested in giving line dancing a go? The facilitator, Step2It Line Dance, offers local line dancing classes. For more information and to book a class, visit their website at step2it.net.au.

I have further questions, who can I contact?
Please contact the City’s Community Health and Wellbeing Officer, Kirsten Beckingham, on (08) 9394 5156 or via email [email protected].
