Heather Connan and Rachel John continue the Melt into Music tradition and this year present, “Duel.”
Melt into Music takes place in the chapel of Minnawarra Park in Armadale. With its intimate setting and stunning acoustics, the chapel is an ideal space for the beauty of chamber music.
As accomplished teachers, performers and musical directors, Heather and Rachel are at the forefront of string education in the Armadale region, showcasing their multi-skilled prowess on the violin, viola and cello. By delivering varied duet combinations of these instruments, they’ll bring the musical atmosphere to life in the Minnawarra Chapel.
Heather and Rachel will demonstrate their versatility on the violin, viola and cello by playing pieces including Bach’s Double Violin Concerto, Flower Duet by Delibes, and with the Duo by Bohemian composer, Kalliwoda, you’ll be convinced there’s more than two musicians playing!
Heather and Rachel will be joined by guest artist, David McManus, on classical guitar.
