Come and Try: Plein Air Painting

Plein air painting, originating from a French phrase meaning “in the open air”, describes the process of painting a landscape whilst immersed in the outdoors. Come along to join this special session of the Armadale Hills Plein Air group at the Armadale Environmental Centre.

Be inspired by local earth art from the Armadale Arts Bush Trail and the incredible bushlands at the foot of the Perth Hills.

Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the first time, an experienced lifetime painter or someone in between, all are welcome. Bring your own materials or use the equipment provided to unleash your imagination. A complimentary morning tea will also be provided.
