As one of the City's premium events, the renowned Minnawarra Art Awards presents a beautifully curated exhibition showcasing a variety of mediums from some of Western Australia's most prestigious artists.Deaf and hard of hearing visitors are invited to join our free Auslan-interpreted tours at this year's exhibition. Tours are led by interpreters from Auslan Stage Left and will guide participants through select pieces, incorporating artist insights into the creative process and curator thoughts and feedback. Come and experience handchimes and handbells at this drop-in workshop. No musical knowledge is required, and the activity will be stationed out the front of Target at Armadale Shopping City. After just one hour, participants will be able to ring several tunes on these uniquely tuned percussion instruments as a group.
